What is this?

This site amplifies your voice as a web surfer. By clicking on VOTE button below, you start the Pixel Vote Manager which initiaites a "webflood" towards the Republician National Convention website. The Vote will obscure the information about the convention by making it more difficult to access.

The Pixel Vote Manager refreshes 40 times per minute and there are no established preventative measures against a Pixel Vote.

You can sign-up for a reminder email for Sept 1st. The first day of the convention. If everyone logs in at the same time, then the effects are amplified. Pixel Votes are completely legal and are expected.

History of Digital Protest

When the Chiapas Indians in southern Mexico were unable to get information of regicidal killing by the Mexican police out to the rest of the world, they formed a rebel group called the Zapatistas. When Sub Commendant Marcos, an American educated Chiapas Indian, became the leader of the Zapatistas, he hired hackers instead of mercenaries. These hackers created FloodNet.

Sub Commendant Marcos is the first postmodern revolutionary, and FloodNet became the first tool of Digital Protest. Floodnet is nonviolent protest.
